Cheap Sunglasses that Don't Look Cheap

Let it be known, I love cheap sunglasses. Nothing beats the amusement of walking up to an open rack of shades and trying every single pair on. Some of the sunglasses are of the variety that make my friends crack up just by donning them and some are the kind I could seriously wear. The beauty of inexpensive sunglasses is that you can have a variety and if they get lost it's no big deal. The cruelty of life is that I can't wear cheap sunglasses. Being a prescription glasses wearing girl I have to buy frames that will hold up to putting the prescription lenses in. Few cheap sunglasses frames are up to the task. Le sigh...well at least I can peruse endless amounts of inexpensive frames online. Most of the ones I am drawn to are tortoise shell they look instantly posh. The floral ones on the bottom are just because.

Currently Craving: Posh Pencil Skirt

No one can deny the appeal of a chic pencil skirt, well at least I can't. The sleek lines and curve grazing silhouette are universally flattering. It's the perfect building block for any woman's wardrobe. This spring the pencil skirt is in full force oozing lady-like grace and style, but this year's twist to the perennial style is that it's no longer basic black, it's rainbow brights. Like this style from Nordstrom's in house brand Halogen, in an easy cotton with a hint of stretch, in not one color, but nine. It comes in a range of sizes from 0-16, some colors even come in petite. Plus it's super affordable at just $59! Now my only problem is deciding on a color.

The Amazing Technicolor Pencil Skirt

What are your thoughts on pencil skirts, love 'em, hate 'em? Which color would you choose?

MAN, I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN

Edited by: Victoria of vmac+cheese
There was a time in the mid-90s when girl power was all the rage (thank you, Spice Girls!). While midriff baby tees might have fallen out of fashion, now more than ever bloggers prove that girl power is still in full effect.Whether it’s donning a lacy top, a beautiful lip color, or even raising a glass to the original girl power movement of Rosie the Riveter, fashion bloggers know better than anyone else how to celebrate being a woman! In honor of National Women’s History month, check out these posts that are all about the things that make being a woman fun.
