Outfit Chronicles: Weekend Shirtdress...Check!

Do you remember that Milly Check Shirtdress I was lusting after in this post. Well, since I didn't have any momentary lapses in sanity I didn't buy it, but I did buy its look alike from Target.  Here is how I wore the Merona Americana Artist Shirtdress with this weekend.

Wearing; Merona Shirtdress from Target, DKNY sweater, gifted and thrifted jewelry and Stuart Weitzman flats.
Originally I was just wearing the dress, but it proved too chilly, so out came the cardi!
The beauty of this dress is the simple tie waist and easy cotton fabric.

Love the magenta bow accent on the navy silk sweater.  The necklace is a locket that was given to me.

I know Stuart Weitzman shoes are not budget, but a friend was getting rid of them and they were offered to me, so I took them.

Spoon bracelet bought at a craft fair worn with a stretchy beaded bracelet from Japan.

Button detail on the DKNY cardigan sweater.

Walking down the yellow brick, I mean... blacktop paved road.
That's all for this episode of Outfit Chronicles, until next time stay true, be you and if someone offers you Stuart Weitzman shoes you say yes please!

What is the most awesome "hand me down" you have ever received?
What do you think of Gingham/Check fabric making a comeback this season, "bring it on" or "send it back to the farm"?
