DIY Dose: Super Easy Jersey Bracelets

Jersey Knit Bracelet with silver stretch cord woven through

Happy Monday all! I feel like it's been too long since I got my crafty on, so I am going to share a super easy project I tried this last weekend.
I made this terrific Jersey knit bracelet, I actually made three and no lie it took less than an hour, I'm sold.  Usually when I am in a crafting slump I just need a little inspiration and I actually found my weekend's craft inspiration on the blog Yellow Brick Lifestyle.  The site features some terrific crafts for accessories, fashion and home and I saw more than one entry that I want to test out for myself.  To make a Jersey knit bracelet like mine follow the directions here.  The only thing I did differently was weave in stretch silver cording with the Jersey as I worked up the bracelet.  The cording probably could be woven in after using a wide eye needle.  Altogether the project materials; jersey knit fabric (1/4 yd.) and cording(2 yd.) cost about $5.  Keep in mind I was able to make three bracelets and I still have some fabric left over.  I hope you give it a try, let me know how the results turn out or if you try anything different.

Jersey and silver cording both purchased at fabric store

Some close up action!

Do you ever get into a crafting slump?  What helps you snap out of it?  What is your favorite crafting project of late?
